Taif, The Taif Rose Festival (Qitaf 19), organized by the Taif Rose Cooperative Society in cooperation with Taif Municipality, started yesterday in Al-Rudaf Park.

A large number of visitors flocked to the festival from the early hours to witness the joyous atmosphere.

The municipality created a flower and rose carpet that covers 5,206 square meters and is made up of 1,026,491 roses and flowers of various shapes and colors. The carpet’s decorative patterns are derived from the heritage and old palaces of Taif Governorate.

Thousands of visitors take photos next to this stunning work of art during the festival.

The festival features various traditional performances and dances, water and light shows, vending stalls, and a children’s zone. It also offers a platform for local business to showcase their rose-based products.

Taif Municipality recently renovated Al-Rudaf Park to accommodate large numbers of visitors of all ages. It added many new features and amenities, making the park even more attractive.
