Temperatures around average, skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, Temperatures will rise slightly, yet they will remain around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be misty and accompanied with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions, and at night the weather will be relatively cold, especially over the mountains.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes whose speed exceeds 50km/h, while the wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes in the coastal region, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/16, Daraa 30/16, Homs 28/17, Lattakia 26/21, Aleppo 31/18 and Deir Ezzor 36/19.
