Temperatures will slightly drop, but they remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, rain showers accompanied with thunder sometimes are expected especially over the coastal and southern areas and Qalamun, and relatively cold at night in most areas.

The winds are changeable of low speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/10, Homs 21/10, Hasaka 22/06, Aleppo 20/10, and Deir Ezzor 22/09.
