Prague,- Czech political analyst Václav Umlauf has affirmed that the West had suffered a clear defeat in Syria, despite its alliance and support for terrorist groups in it and its use of various methods to target it.

In an article published by the Czech La Repubblica website, Umlauf said “As a result of this defeat, the West is trying to change its tactics in Syria through siege and sanctions, and it systematically works to destroy infrastructure through attacks launched by terrorist cells and through helping separatist militias loot Syrian oil and wealth.”

Umlauf stressed that Syria, in cooperation with Russia and its allies, will achieve victory over terrorists and will restore its lands which are occupied by the Turkish and American occupation forces.
