Ankara: The Turkish Ministry of Defense has publicly condemned Israeli air operations in Syrian territory, emphasizing that such actions are contributing to the destabilization of Syria.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, ministry sources revealed this stance during responses to journalists’ inquiries at the conclusion of its weekly press conference. The sources stated, “Ankara rejects the air operations carried out by Israel in Syria,” and highlighted that these operations primarily serve to destabilize the region. Furthermore, it was noted that the United Nations, alongside numerous countries, has denounced the Israeli attacks and urged for their cessation.
The ministry sources also mentioned ongoing Turkish coordination activities with all involved parties in Syria, conducted within the framework of the new Syrian government’s request.
