Two Lebanese Injured in Israeli Airstrike on Markaba Town.


Beirut: Two Lebanese were injured Thursday as Israeli enemy aircraft targeted Markaba town, south of Lebanon, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement that was announced on Wednesday. The incident marks an escalation in tensions between the two nations, raising concerns about the stability of the region.

According to Syrian Arab News Agency, enemy drones targeted Merkaba Town Square, resulting in the injury of two people. Al-Risala Association crews quickly responded to the scene and worked to transfer the injured to the hospital for treatment. The attack has sparked outrage among local residents and officials, who are calling for immediate international intervention to uphold the ceasefire.

The agency pointed out that an enemy tank fired five shells at the areas of al-Wazzani, Rmeish towns, and the outskirts of Kfar Shuba. Furthermore, enemy reconnaissance aircraft were reported flying over the villages of Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts, heightening fears of further escalations in the coming days. The
