United Arab Emirates Embassy via its Humanitarian and Development Affairs Attache provided therapeutic emergency and swift aid to 7 displaced Syrians suffering from chronic illnesses, UAE Embassy statement said on Wednesday.

“This has been done through a donation provided by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, in the wake of the field tour by UAE Ambassador Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, amongst some hospitals in the Bekaa and having a closer look at patients’ cases,” statement said.

Patients’ treatment took place at Hamed Farhat Hospital in west Bekaa, within the framework of the relentless, continued aids presented by the UAE humanitarian, philanthropic institutions to the Syrian refugees and the harmed Lebanese.
