Adnan Ezat al Braiqi (age 45) from al Mzayreeb town in western Daraa governorate, works in clothes sales. He was shot and killed on September 20, 2022, by unidentified gunmen on his way to his home in al Mzayreeb town, which is under the control of the Syrian regime forces.

SNHR is still trying to reach eyewitnesses to obtain more details on the incident.

SNHR condemns all killings of civilians and calls on the controlling forces to assume their responsibility for protecting the civilian population in areas under their control and to launch an investigation into this incident and reveal its conclusions to the public.

There will be no stability in Syria without a genuine political process moving towards democracy, implemented according to a set timetable.
