Winners of UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education announced

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has announced the two winning projects of the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education 2022.

“Smart Education in China” project, presented by the National Centre for Educational Technology (NCET), in China, and the “National Resources Centre” project, which is run by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, in Ireland, won the fourteenth edition of the prize.

The two projects were selected from 95 nominations from 56 countries all over the world for their contribution to promoting digital education.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held in September at UNESCO headquarters, in Paris, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a extended congratulations to HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the 14th edition of the prize.
