Temperatures continue to drop on Thursday to become from 1 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy, rain showers are expected in most regions and snow over mountains.

The wind will be north to northeastern of moderate speed in most regions, while it will be southwestern between low to moderate in speed in the coastal and southern regions and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/3, Homs 10/5 , Aleppo 7/4 , Lattakia 16/9 Tartous 16/10
