The High-Level Meeting to Commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) started activities in the Serbian Capital City of Belgrade on Monday.

The Syrian Arab Republic is participating in the meeting with a delegation headed by Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, Director of the Private Office Department Dr. Abdullah Hallaq, and chargé d’affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Serbia, Dr. Ammar Awad.

Mikdad will meet a number of his counterparts who are participating in the meeting as the situation of the Non-Aligned Movement, the international latest developments and the bilateral relations will be on the table.

Minister Mikdad and the accompanying delegation were received in Belgrade by Serbian Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Dijana Ivancic.
