Army units begin combing some villages in southeast of Daraa city

Daraa, Syrian Arab Army units carried out redeployment operation on Sunday in the villages of Nassib, Umm al-Mayathen and al-Tayba, located to the southeast of the city of Daraa, after completing the process of settling the status of the wanted and military deserters, in implementation of the agreement proposed by the State.

SANA’s reporter in Daraa said that army units started combing and searching operations on the public roadsides leading to the villages of Nassib, Umm al-Mayathen and al-Tayba, and their entrances and vicinities.

The army units also worked on removing remnants of the explosives, in order to preserve the lives of civilians and pave the way for the return of state institutions to the area .

Over the last weeks, army units reinforced their positions in many cities, towns and villages in Daraa northwestern countryside, in al-Yarmouk Basin area and the northern countryside, hours after these areas joined the settlement agreement proposed by the State last August .
