Palestinian medics in Gaza Strip said on Monday that the number of martyrs during the ongoing Israeli aggression had increased to 493 people.

Gaza health authorities’ Spokesman Ashraf Al-Qedra said that the number of Palestinian martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression jumped to 493 martyrs and 2,700 wounded.

Since last night, the Israeli occupying army committed many horrendous crimes against the Palestinian people by continued booming intensely on Gaza Strip, especially in the Beit Hanoun area, north of the Strip.

The occupying forces used military fighters and canons in Gaza targeting residential buildings and public facilities including mosques. Rescue forces were able to save many Palestinians buried under the rubble, despite its limited capabilities while electricity and internet were cut in Gaza since the early hours on Monday morning.
